quotes This event is going to rock! Big props to all the women that are putting on events this year. Kat, Tammy, myself, this is so important for the progression of womens mountain biking. I am sad to hear that Darcy wont be having See Jane Jump this year, but you know she'll be back at it ASAP... and Ray's Women's Weekends are here to stay. We need more continuing events in all regions, from many of the amazing and strong female leaders out there. And we need more media coverage to spread the word, so more ladies know this is going on! It makes me sad to hear ladies complain of having no one to ride with or to teach them... we are all out here, we just have to find eachother!

quotes There are more girls than ever now! Unfortunately there hasn't been too much media coverage... so I started ShineRidersCo.com I could go on and on about whats going on but hop over there and check it out. Yes, we've had to create our own separate events to foster an encouraging environment to grow our new female freeriders... but I have personally watched new chicks pick up bikes and send it better than guys that I know. Its only a matter of time until we catch up to you :)
